Review the Real-Life Project Management Plan (Phases 1–3) your Learning Team developed in Weeks 2, 3, & 4.

 

Review the Project Management Concepts and Applications Paper you wrote in Week 1.

 

Develop a 6 to 8 slide presentation with speaker notes that illustrates how you would manage a project effectively.

 

Include slides for the following elements:

• Describe three situations each where you, as the Project Manager, would demonstrate leadership vs managing skills.
• Provide examples of 3 or more of your personal traits that will make you an effective project manager
• Describe activities you would use to assemble, develop, and manage a project team
• Describe the importance of project sponsorship during project execution; how would you handle a sponsor that is not active?
• Describe in detail 3 methods the project manager can use to resolve team conflict (escalating to the Sponsor or Sr Management is not an option, the project manager is expected to be capable to resolve conflict)
• Describe 2 or more specific metrics that you would use to evaluate project cost and schedule progress. Once the project is complete, how would you measure on-going performance?
